How much do certified medical istants make in connecticut?

im in school for medical isting at porter and chester institute in connecticut and i was wondering how much do they make in a hospital like hartford hosp. or st. fransis or even in a smaller health center. and also any advise on job hunting for CMA or RMA jobs in connecticut. many people told me only 10% of students actually find jobs as MA's. are my chances lower because im certified/registered and dont have a degree??? HELP!!!
