Going from what youve said your hair right now is VERY dark, in order to fix this youre going to need to remove the color i reccomend Paul Mitchell Backtrack..warning ONLY USE this with Paul mitchell Shampoo one when rinsing. Your hair is going to look MUCH darker after being colored because it was blonde before. I would suggest starting with a level 6 brown. Instead of blonde highlights you could do copper highlights, warm colors will help compliment your skin. or you could use a brown with copper in it for the all over color.
